Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana
BBBSCI is the Central Indiana branch of the national organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, serving over 1,280 youth annually. Their mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
“Rachel approaches branding with a people first mentality and brought the focus of our messaging back to the community we serve. This is so needed to tell the story of our agency. She aligned our content with our mission after our marketing had been distanced from the people for a couple of years. This made an engaging and positive impact on our brand and mission.”
– Jackie Lai, Senior Director of Community Engagement & Jedi Initiatives
500 Bigs by the Indy 500 Campaign
BBBSCI & the Indianapolis Motor Speedway partnered for a 2023 spring campaign to recruit 500 Bigs by the Indianapolis 500, ultimately recruiting 586 volunteers. From March 1 through May 28, I implemented the campaign’s marketing strategy across the agency by securing 25 media placements, managing a social media ad campaign and general strategy, creating and coordinating paid radio and print ads, and supporting events.

General Marketing Materials
I supported agency-wide events by creating various signage, social media content, and sponsorship recognition communications.
